The Inspection

When you order an inspection from Good Friend Inspections, you are buying an expert’s view into a home’s complex and hard to reach systems and structure.   

I am thorough and will inspect the home's systems (heating, A/C, ventilation, water heater, electrical, plumbing), building envelope (roof, exterior, drainage), structure (attic, crawlspace) and the interior.  My inspections typically take about 4 hours.  I issue a report within 24 hours after the inspection, but usually the same day.

The Inspection Report

The inspection report is accessible with a link sent in an email. The report is a PDF document that may be viewed or saved. It is issued within 24 hours of the completion of the inspection.

The report is divided into sections by system - Roofing, Exterior, Plumbing, etc. There is a summary at the front that highlights the more major or urgent issues (if present). Most reports are 40 to 50 pages due to the many photos that are included.
